Over the years, three of my children have left the church, and about 6 years ago my husband also stepped away. I know firsthand what it’s like to feel that you have no one to talk with or guide you, no one who really understands what you are going through. It is a lonely time.
As your coach, I will listen to you and help you calm and clarify your thoughts, understand your emotions, and work on a plan for moving forward.
I have learned through personal experience and as a life coach that we need to put our own emotional, spiritual, and mental health first. I can help you recognize and prioritize what is of value to you. As you put energy into these things that matter most, your life will again stabilize. Once you are solid and learn to use your agency to be responsible what you can control, you will again feel joy and peace, even when loved ones are making different choices than you would. Most of all you will be able to love them without trying to control them. You will learn to create a life filled with peace, joy, and happiness, even when your life doesn’t look like the ideal Latter-day Saint family.
