Coaching changed my life. Halfway through my years in college, I was in deep despair over what I should do for my major, overwhelmed with taking on too many responsibilities, majorly sleep deprived, and overcome with anxiety and depression over dating. I had it ALL so to speak, at least in a NEGATIVE way. But then I got myself a coach. And everything changed. Because of coaching now, I continue to do it all, but in a POSITIVE way.
Since that fateful day in 2020, I got certified as a life coach, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Utah State, landed a successful tech job, handled dating the best I ever have emotionally speaking, and even got to climb the equivalent of Mt. Everest in an endurance event called 29029 in under 36 hours.
Too many young adults like me are struggling for no reason. We think that this is just how life is. We’re just are terrified everyday if we’ll make it, constantly frustrated with our shortcomings, always thinking other people have it better. We’re stuck thinking we’ll never get married or be successful or we’ll always be unhappy, while also feeling ashamed of these thoughts because as Latter-day Saints, we’re supposed to be cheerful and have faith. I promise you, you are good. Your life is amazing. And you can actually experience that by learning how to change your perception so you change your life.
